The Uberreit Equestrian Brand " Code of Conduct"
As the Uberreit Equestrian Brand of products goes forward into
the equestrian world.., we strive to maintain our
personal and professional focus on living healthy, total committed
care for our equine partners, and balanced equestrian lifestyles.
With a strict set of criteria, the leadership of our brand , personally
set the selection criteria to ensure that we are partnering with
individuals and other companies who share our core values and take
personal responsibility and pride in their work environments. We
personally
visit each and every site to ensure these criteria are
met and adhered to.
These standards, based on international industry recognized principles,
are outlined in the Uberreit Brand " Workplace Code of Conduct ". We refer to
these standards as our " must have's ":
* no child labour
* no forced labour
* no discrimination
* no harassment or abuse
* freedom of association
* voluntary hours of work
* workplace health and safety
* wage and benefit minimums
* environmental responsibility
Each of our manufacturing partners commits in writing to upholding this Code
of
Conduct. If the terms in our Code of Conduct are not met, actions are immediately
taken.
While the Code of Conduct speaks to our product factory partners, it is also
a
tool for the actions of all Uberreit Equestrian brand employees.
The ethical guidelines in the Code speak to how we select any other business
partner,
and also to how we ourselves perform in the global community.
